We currently deliver to select cities within the Province of Ontario only.  The cities we currently service are as follows: Acton, Ajax, Bolton, Brampton, Burlington, Caledon, Cambridge, Campbellville, Concord, Etobicoke, Georgetown, Grimsby, Guelph, Hamilton , Kitchener, Maple, Markham, Milton, Mississauga, North York , Oakville, Orangeville, Richmond Hill , Scarborough, Stoney Creek, Toronto, Vaughan, Waterloo, Woodbridge.

We may service some other outlying areas so feel free to email us at info@cleanplates.ca if you have any questions. Additional delivery fees may apply.

We use only natural, fresh ingredients purchased from local farms and markets. Our beef is grass-fed, and our chicken is free-range and grain-fed. Both are steroid- and hormone-free. Some or our proteins are also available in Halal.

Our main menus change weekly.  You can find this in our website after you select the date you would like to receive your delivery. You can check multiple dates to see the different menu options for each delivery.  Once the menu is loaded, simply click any meal to find out the nutritional information. Nutrition facts will also be listed on each of the meal containers when they are delivered.

The Meal Box is a one-time purchase, whereas the Meal Plans are a recurring subscription that is auto-renewed according to the billing cycle you select. Meal Plans will be auto-renewed until you tell us to stop. Email info@cleanplates.ca to turn off your auto-renewal. Just let us know before the next renewal date.  You must complete all the deliveries in your current subscription period.

For the 1-week subscription, you will be billed every week. For the 4-week subscription, you will be billed every four weeks and save up to 5% on every meal. Please note that for both subscriptions, you have the option to upgrade to a larger portion meal (up to 20-30% larger than standard) for an addition cost.

Yes, you can choose your own meals! For a Meal Box you will select all the meals that you want to put in your box. You will be required to select a minimum of 6 meals in order to check out.

For a Meal Plan you can select your own meals, or you can have our chefs select your meals for you. Just updated you Allergens or Dislikes in your profile so our chefs can better understand which meals you would enjoy most. Remember to select your meals before our order cut off times. If you miss the cut off time our chefs will select your meals for you based on the Meal Plan you purchased. If you purchased the Anything Plan and have not selected your meals, our chefs will select Healthy Lifestyle meals for you. When you subscription auto-renews you meals are pre-selected.  You will need to login to your account and modify you pre-selected meals before the order cut off times.

For Meal Plans, as you process your online order, you will have the option to choose both the number of days per week (5, 6 or 7) and the number of meals per day (1, 2, 3 or 4) that you would like to receive. There are different options based on the number of days you choose.

For Meal Boxes you will be required select a minimum of 6 meals to be delivered at one time for one delivery only.

Certain meals are available in a larger portion size.
Healthy Lifestyle & Athlete meals: +2oz raw protein, +1/4 cup more cooked grains or +30g more starches.
Low Carb & Shredder meals: +2oz raw raw protein, +40-50g more veggies.
Meat Free Meals: 20% more plant-based ingredient, +1/4 cup more cooked grains or +30g more starches. Breakfast meals do not come in large.
Small variations in portion sizes may occur.

If you purchase a Meal Plan, we can accommodate some Allergens and food “dislikes”. During the check-out process you will be asked if you have any food allergies or food dislikes. Just click the boxes that apply to your dietary needs. You will not receive meals with any of those ingredients or allergens. Please note we only accommodate some allergens and dislikes.

Each meal description will also provide an ingredient list as well as some dietary preferences such as Dairy-free or Gluten-free to assist you in your meal selection. When purchasing a Meal Box you can review these descriptions to assist you in selecting your meals.

We cannot always accommodate all dietary dislikes /preferences.

If you update your allergies and/or food dislikes in the middle of a subscription, the changes will not take place until you subscription renews.  It is the customers responsibility to review the remaining deliveries to ensure no meals contain the updated allergies and/or dislikes.

Yes. Just log into your profile and skip any upcoming deliveries during your subscription period. You can also contact us at info@cleanplates.ca to request a skip. When you skip a delivery a new delivery date will be added to the end of your current subscription. Once we have delivered all the meals in your current subscription period, then your subscription will auto-renew. Please note that all skips will need to be requested before our order cut off times.

If you miss the order cut-off time, your deliver will continue as planned, but keep in mind that your meals can be frozen for up to 30 days and enjoyed later.

Our cut off time to modify orders or to receive a Sunday delivery is the Thursday before by 5pm.

Our cut off time to modify orders or to receive a Wednesday delivery is the Sunday before by 5pm.

Unfortunately, we cannot make any changes to your order including changing meals, adding meals, changing meal plans, changing delivery addresses etc., after the cut off times noted above have passed.

If you would like to cancel your subscription, you will need to do so before your next scheduled renewal and to let us know before our order cut off times. Subscriptions renew two days before your last delivery of your current subscription period. If you have deliveries remaining in your current subscription period and do not wish to complete them, a credit will be added to your account to be used at a future date. Please note that you may forfeit any discounts, coupons applied if your subscription is not completed according to the terms of the coupon/subscription. There are no cash refunds. Refunds are in the form of Clean Plates credit.

If you purchase a Build Your Own Meal Box your order will not auto-renew.  This is a one-time purchase and your order is delivered on the day you select.

If you purchase an Ongoing Meal Plan your order will automatically renew 2-3 days before your last scheduled delivery within your subscription period. If you would like to cancel your auto-renewal, you will need to let us know before your scheduled renewal date (2-3 days before your last delivery). If you notify us after your renewal has occurred, refunds are in the form of Clean Plates store credit to be used on a future order.  You will also receive a renewal notification email 3 days before your renewal is processed.

We have two order cut off times.

Orders placed by 5:00pm PM Thursday will be available for delivery on the upcoming Sunday. Orders placed by 5:00 PM Sunday will be available for delivery on the upcoming Wednesday. Please note that our delivery windows for Sunday & Wednesday are between 8AM and 10PM.
Your order confirmation email will also tell you when your first delivery begins.

You will receive an SMS/Text notification 24-48 hours in advance of your delivery, with your 2-hour delivery window. Delivery times cannot be requested.  With our insulated cooler boxes, you have 3 hours to place your meals in your fridge.

Please note that at times we may need to change and modify your delivery/pick up times without notice.

Our deliveries are completed every Wednesday and Sunday only.
Please refer to your confirmation email for the date(s) of your delivery(ies).
Your delivery can arrive between 7AM to 22:00PM on our two delivery days. We cannot provide an exact delivery window at the time you place your order.
You will receive a text notification 24 to 48 hours before your scheduled delivery with a 2-hour delivery window update. This is our best guess as when to expect your meals to arrive. Unforeseen traffic conditions, weather conditions can affect your delivery window on the day of delivery. All deliveries are done Contact-free.

On the day of delivery, you will receive a second text notification when your delivery driver is approx 30min away.
You will then receive a third text notification when you contact free delivery was completed. You will have 3 hours to retrieve your order and to place your meals in your fridge.

Please note that Clean Plates may from time to time update your delivery date and/or time without notice.
Please ensure you provide a mobile phone number to receive text/SMS notifications and updates about your delivery. Please ensure a correct mobile number is provided as Clean Plates is not responsible for failed deliveries or notifications due to incorrect mobile numbers or addresses provided at check-out.

How it works:

1. You will receive a text/SMS notification 24-48 hours before your delivery informing you of your 2-hour delivery window.
2. Meals are packaged in our new recyclable boxes with a protective liner which keeps your meals safe for up to 3 hours at your door from delivery.
3. On the delivery day, your will receive a 30-minute pre-arrival text/SMS letting you know that your order is close by.
4. When our driver arrives at your address, they will leave the meals at your door with contact free delivery.
5. The driver will take a photo of your delivery which will be stored on our delivery portal.
6. You will receive a final text/SMS notification letting you know that your delivery is complete.
7. Retrieve your meals and put them in your fridge within 3-hours of delivery.

Please note if you live in an apartment, to provide us a buzzer or access number to gain entrance to your unit or mail/parcel room. Please provide any instructions in your delivery note section that will assist us in completing a successful, contact free delivery. If a driver cannot connect with you, they will wait for 10 minutes then proceed with their deliveries.  If the driver needs to return a re-delivery fee will apply of $25.00 or you could fore-fit your delivery.  Clean Plates is not responsible for meals left at your door once they are delivered.

During the checkout process, you will be able to instruct us on what to do with your delivery if no one will be home during your 2-hour delivery window. You can request the meals to be left at your door or if you live in an apartment/condo – to be left with your front-desk. Please ensure to make arrangements with your front desk.

Please note that Clean Plates is not responsible for meals left at your door. Please be aware of your delivery dates and times to ensure successful deliveries.

Please ensure you are aware of our delivery windows before you check-out. Changes to a delivery address may result in additional delivery fees.

We accept all major credit cards, as well as Clean Plates’ gift cards.

When reheating meals, always cook to an internal temperature of at least 165˚F. Always remove lids before reheating. The bottom portion of the containers are safe for reheating in an oven and/or microwave. Please note that reheating times may vary based on the reheating appliance being used and the times mentioned below may be different for your appliance.
If using an oven – remove lid and cover meal with oven safe foil, reheat at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 20-30 minutes. Always keep a close watch on your meal when reheating in the over.

If microwaving, remove lid, cover with a napkin and microwave for 2-3 minutes.

You can also heat your meals on a stove top using an oven safe dish or pan.

Not all meals need to be reheated.

Our meals are fresh, never frozen. Meals last 3-4 days in the fridge from when you receive them. Each meal will have a freeze by date as well. You can freeze your meals for 30 days to be enjoyed later.

Clean Plates is an eco-friendly company. Our containers and lids are made from harvested wheat and are fully compostable, natural and unbleached. Our plates do not contain plastic or wax lining and are fully soak proof. And not only are they eco-friendly, but they are safe to use in a microwave or oven (please remove lid before heating) without the worry of harmful chemicals seeping into your food.

Promo codes can be applied during the checkout process. We announce all of our promotions on social media, so make sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook so you don’t miss out on any deals!

All refunds are in the form of Clean Plates digital dollars that are applied to your Clean Plates Digital wallet as credit for use towards future purchases.

Refunds/Credits will not be awarded for any order due to randomized meal selection or for meals our Chefs have selected for you, as it is the customer’s responsibility to choose their preferred meals for each delivery date. If an ongoing subscription is cancelled and there are still future delivery dates not completed, a customer can opt to complete the upcoming deliveries or to request the equivalent value as credit to be applied to their account for future use. If you wish to skip or cancel your order for any reason, you will need to notify us by our order cut off times. No cash refunds will be awarded. For most meals our standard portion sizes are as follows:
Healthy Lifestyle Meals & Athlete Meals: – 6 oz raw protein, 80 grams cooked vegetables, 3/4 cups cooked grains/rice or 100 grams starches or 1/2 cup cooked quinoa or 100 grams cooked brown rice noodle
Low Carb Meals & Shredder Meals: – 6 oz raw protein, 160 grams cooked vegetables
Meat Free Meals; – 4-6 oz plant-based protein or 5 oz tofu or 4-5 oz tempeh (Vegetables, Grains/Rices or Starches – same as Healthy Lifestyle meals).

Please note that not all meals follow the above portion sizes.
